Chitwan National Park Jungle Safari

 

Nepal's oldest National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site offers you the opportunity to ride an elephant through the jungle, view rhinos, tigers, leopards,monkeys , deer and sloth bears. Itinerary


The Itinerary for this trip depends on the activities you choose to do, we recommend the following:

Elephant ride-Take a spectacular 3 hour trip through the jungle in search of tiger, sloth bears, rhinos and monkeys on an Asian elephant.

Elephant bath-Cool off in the river as your elephant takes a refreshing bath, with you on its back!

Elephant Breeding and Care Center-Visit the center to see how these magnificent creatures are bred, born and brought up.

Jungle Walk-Take a walk through the thick grass on the lookout for wildlife. You must take a trained and experienced guide with you and follow his or her instructions carefully. Spot rhinos, deer, bears, monkeys and other creature up close in their natural habitat.

Canoe Ride-Get up early to take a quiet and soothing canoe trip and watch for crocodiles, rhino and the rare Gangetic dolphin.

Jeep Safari-Take a 4x4 and set out for adventure, an opportuntiy to take beautiful photos, spot wildlife up-close and experience the beauty of the Terai and spectacular mountain views.

Tharu Cultural Program-After dinner gather round the fire in the heart of the jungle to take part in the Tharu stick dance.

Birdwatching-Chitwan is home to over 450 different birds, spend an afternoon watching these colorful, delightful birds.

Most of these activities can be combined in a single day.  Chitwan is an excellent place to explore local life, relax and take in the easy going nature of the community and get away from the sights and sounds of Kathmandu.
