Royal Chitwan National Park
Located in the lowlands of southern Nepal Chitwan National Park is home to tigers, rhinos, elephants, leopards, crocodiles, deer, sloth bears, monkeys and wild boar not to mention 450 different kinds of birds. Chitwan is located in the heart of the jungle with awesome views of the Himalaya to the north. Accommodation in Chitwan ranges from sprawling luxury lodges within the park itself to budget hotels just outside the parks borders. Package tours can be arranged to include a number of activities.
