Mount Kanchenjunga 8598m is the third highest mountain in the world located in the eastern district of Taplejung on the borders on Tibet and Sikkim in India. Kanchenjunga is a wild and isolated place that takes you through Limbu and Sherpa villages. There are two routes to the north and south sides of the mountain. We recommend that you choose one side rather than both as the terrain is steep and challenging and weather often causes severe delays. The Kanchenjunga trek takes a minimum of 20 days and requires an expedition team of porters and Sherpas to carry food, fuel and camp gear. A classic!
